Experience and subject expertise
Dr. Yuliya Vershilo has more than 20 years of professional experience in Human Resources, primarily within the banking industry, with expertise spanning compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, HR analytics, performance management and HR transformation.
Throughout her career, she has designed and implemented reward systems, KPI frameworks, workforce planning models and HR analytics solutions for corporate banking, retail banking, digital business, contact centres, operations, IT and support functions. Her work combines strategic HR design with practical implementation, helping organizations improve business performance through effective people management.
In addition to leading compensation and performance management functions, Dr. Vershilo has contributed to HR strategy development, organizational restructuring, HR process automation, workforce budgeting, employee experience, competency frameworks and digital transformation initiatives.
Today, her professional interests focus on the future of Human Resources, AI-driven HR management, people analytics, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and evidence-based HR decision-making. She is the author of professional HR courses and actively explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping modern HR functions.
Dr. Vershilo graduated with distinction in Human Resource Management from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics in 2005 and earned a PhD in Economics from the same university in 2009. She also holds the Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification from WorldatWork (2019) and completed the WorldatWork Grading Program in 2021.

Dr. Vershilo teaches modern Human Resource Management with a strong emphasis on practical business application. Her courses integrate strategic HR, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, artificial intelligence, workforce planning and organizational design.

By combining academic knowledge with real-world case studies from the banking sector and international HR practice, she enables professionals to design data-driven HR solutions that improve organizational performance.
