Purpose and scope
This Code applies to learners participating in MTF Institute programs, communities, events and digital learning spaces. It supports a safe, respectful and professionally useful environment. Learners remain responsible for following applicable law, platform terms and any additional rules communicated for a specific program or activity.
Respect, inclusion and safety
Treat learners, instructors, staff, partners and guests with dignity. Harassment, discrimination, threats, bullying, deliberate disruption and retaliation are not acceptable. Disagreement is welcome when it addresses ideas and evidence rather than attacking people. Do not share another person's private information, recordings or work without permission.
Academic and professional integrity
Submit work that honestly represents your own contribution. Cite sources, identify quotations and acknowledge meaningful assistance from people or AI systems when the assignment requires disclosure. Do not plagiarize, fabricate evidence, impersonate another learner, purchase assessed work or help someone evade an assessment rule.
Responsible use of AI and technology
Use digital tools lawfully and with appropriate care for privacy, intellectual property, confidential information and cybersecurity. AI output must be reviewed before use. Do not upload personal, client or employer information to a tool unless you have authority and a suitable data-handling basis. Attempts to interfere with systems, accounts or other learners' access are prohibited.
Professional communication and reporting
Communicate clearly, avoid spam and respect the purpose of each learning channel. Concerns may be reported to welcome@gtf.pt. Provide enough factual detail for the matter to be assessed. MTF Institute may restrict access while investigating a credible safety, integrity or security concern and will seek a proportionate response based on the available evidence.
