Our approach
The website can be used without optional cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies stay disabled until you allow them, and you choose the two categories separately. Google tags may send limited cookieless consent signals before a choice, while full Google Analytics measurement and its cookies are enabled only after you allow analytics. Yandex Metrica, including Webvisor, is not loaded until you allow analytics. Google advertising cookies and personalized advertising signals are enabled only after you allow marketing. Refusing either category does not limit access to the site, programs, books or contact information, and it does not change the price of any program.
Allowing analytics does not enable advertising cookies. The two choices are independent, and you can change either one at any time.
Analytics we use
| Provider | Purpose | Typical identifiers | Typical maximum duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Audience measurement, page performance and navigation analysis. | _ga, _ga_* |
Up to 2 years |
| Google Ads | Measuring which advertisement led to an enrolment, and showing our programs to people who visited this website. | _gcl_au, _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc |
Up to 90 days |
| Yandex Metrica and Webvisor | Audience measurement, link and click analysis, and session interaction diagnostics. | _ym_*, yandexuid, yuidss |
Up to 2 years, depending on the identifier |
Google Consent Mode v2 loads Google tags with analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization all denied by default. Before consent, Google may receive cookieless signals that contain no identifier and cannot be linked to you. Cookies and full measurement are enabled only for the categories you allow. Yandex Metrica and Webvisor are not covered by Consent Mode and are therefore not loaded at all until you allow analytics.
When allowed, analytics may receive technical information such as browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed and interactions with the site. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information through ordinary website fields.
Legal basis and service providers
The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and the applicable Portuguese rules on storing or accessing information on a device. Depending on provider infrastructure, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in each provider's terms.
Yandex Metrica is operated from the Russian Federation, for which the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision. If you allow analytics, data described above may be transferred there under the safeguards set out in the provider's terms. If you prefer not to allow that transfer, refuse analytics; the site remains fully usable.

Your choice
Your cookie preferences are stored on your device in your browser's local storage and, as a fallback, in a cookie named mtf_consent, for up to 180 days. That record holds only your choice per category, a timestamp and a version number. It contains no identifier and is not sent to any third party.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie button in the corner of every page, or through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing a category stops the corresponding tags from loading, removes the accessible cookies for that category from this domain, and reloads the page so that nothing keeps running from before the change. Consent given before a withdrawal remains lawful for the period in which it applied.
Your data protection rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact us at welcome@gtf.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with Portugal's supervisory authority, the Comissao Nacional de Protecao de Dados (CNPD).
