Barbara Gutsch is a risk and compliance professional with more than 15 years of international experience across Swiss private banking and major financial institutions. Her background includes more than seven years in Swiss private banking as a risk and compliance manager, working where client service, regulation, governance and operational control meet.

Her professional focus includes complex customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence, cross-border risk structures, AML and KYC governance frameworks, and selected sanctions and FATCA/CRS-related matters.

Alongside her banking career, she has developed and delivered compliance-focused learning for finance professionals and institutions. Her approach combines regulatory discipline, practical clarity and business awareness so that organizations can connect policy with sustainable processes and role-specific decisions.
