## Quick answers

MTF Institute provides professional education through its own learning environment and selected partner platforms. Program format, workload, price and access conditions are stated on each current program page.

## English-language admission

Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to MTF professional courses and programs. Applicants do not need to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores. Learners remain responsible for having enough English to understand the selected course.

## Digital certificates and Student ID

Eligible learners can generate an MTF digital certificate and MTF Student ID without an additional certificate fee. The name printed on a document is taken from the learner profile. Changes apply only to documents generated after the profile is updated.

Learners studying directly at [edu.gtf.pt](https://edu.gtf.pt/) use the certificate control available at the end of an eligible course. Learners coming from Udemy first create an MTF learning-portal account, align the name in both systems and use the [MTF certificate generator](https://edu.gtf.pt/admin/tool/certificate/udemy.php).

## Certificate name and profile checks

Use the First name and Last name fields to arrange the name exactly as it should appear. If the full legal name has several parts, distribute them between those two fields in the preferred order. Very long names may need a shorter presentation so they fit the document design. The Udemy name and the MTF learner profile must match.

Never type a Udemy certificate URL from the visible certificate design. Copy the complete address from the browser address bar. A Udemy certificate address normally begins with `https://www.udemy.com/certificate/`.

## Udemy courses with a Udemy certificate

1. Create an account at [edu.gtf.pt](https://edu.gtf.pt/).
2. Complete at least one eligible MTF course on Udemy.
3. Check that the Udemy profile name is written in English and matches the MTF profile.
4. Copy the name between the two profiles instead of retyping it.
5. Open the [certificate generator](https://edu.gtf.pt/admin/tool/certificate/udemy.php), select **Udemy courses**, choose the course and paste the complete Udemy certificate URL copied from the browser address bar.

## Udemy assessments or certifications without a Udemy certificate

Follow the same account and name-matching checks, then select **Udemy Certifications** in the MTF generator. Choose the completed assessment or certification and paste the public Udemy profile URL. The public profile link is available from the Udemy user menu under **Public profile**.

## Publishing an MTF certificate on LinkedIn

Generate the certificate while signed in to the MTF learner portal, then sign in to LinkedIn in the same browser. Use the LinkedIn action available beside the generated credential. Review every pre-filled field before publishing. Learners may also add MTF Institute to the LinkedIn Education section and share a post about the completed learning step.

## Study access and deadlines

Many MTF programs are self-paced. Access periods and archival rules depend on the program and delivery platform. Use the current program page and enrollment terms as the controlling source; do not assume lifetime access unless it is explicitly stated.

## Refunds and third-party platforms

Refund eligibility depends on the seller, platform, purchase date, course consumption and whether a credential has already been issued. Consult the terms shown at checkout or on the partner platform. MTF may deliver learning through its own systems or selected partners such as Udemy, while eligible partner-platform learners may still obtain an MTF digital credential.

## Recommendations and paper documents

A digital letter of recommendation is available only for eligible learners in the [Advanced Executive Program in Management and Business Administration](https://mtfinstitute.com/programs/advanced-executive-management-business-administration/) after successful completion of the required capstone project. Physical-document ordering is temporarily unavailable while MTF arranges a new logistics partner. Digital credentials remain available for eligible completions.

## Credential status

MTF professional certificates document professional learning. They are not academic degrees or diplomas, do not confer academic credits and should not be represented as a regulated university award. Refer to the current program page and Portugal-facing institutional information for the applicable legal context.

## Teaching and collaboration

Qualified professionals may propose teaching or project collaboration by sending a CV and a concise proposal to [welcome@gtf.pt](mailto:welcome@gtf.pt).

## Support

For help, write to [welcome@gtf.pt](mailto:welcome@gtf.pt) and include the exact program or course title, enrollment email, platform and issue. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
