# How the MTF Executive Program Is Designed and Assessed

MTF designed the Advanced Executive Program as professional executive education for people who need to apply management knowledge at work. ## How the curriculum was constructed

The academic team reviewed the recurring functional areas present in management and business-administration curricula used by leading institutions: strategy, finance, customers, operations, technology and people. MTF then organized those areas around current professional decisions rather than reproducing a university degree.

The curriculum adds subjects that have become central to management work: platform strategy, generative and agentic AI, responsible AI governance, human-AI teams, digital ecosystems, operational resilience, customer economics, ESG decision-making and professional authority.

## What "AI-supported practice" means

AI is treated as a supervised practice environment. A learner may ask an approved assistant to propose alternatives, expose assumptions, structure a first analysis or simulate a skeptical stakeholder. The learner must:

- check material facts against reliable sources;
- distinguish evidence from inference;
- remove confidential, personal or regulated data;
- document important assumptions;
- select and defend the final recommendation;
- remain accountable for the submitted work.

This design builds AI fluency without pretending that fluent output is the same as correct judgment.

## Cases and applied work

Cases create a boundary around a decision. They ask learners to interpret incomplete evidence, make trade-offs and communicate a recommendation. Current program materials include functional and integrated cases involving strategy, transactions, direct-to-consumer transformation, operating models, AI-enabled platforms and team effectiveness.

## Capstone evidence

The integrated capstone asks the learner to connect a market proposition with financial assumptions, a go-to-market system, operations, technology, people and risk. A strong submission is coherent across functions and explicit about uncertainty. It should be understandable to a decision-maker who was not present during the work.

## Credentials and professional status
